Can't get the mirrors off the brackets.

I'm relocating my mirrors so I can be street legal without the doors. Got the kit to add brackets to the frame. Should be a 5 minute project, but I can't get the dang mirrors off their original brackets. I removed the torx screw at the bottom of each mirror. Do I have to do anything else?

So frustrating when a tiny little project doesn't go as planned.

This should help.

Got them off. Just used brute force. I laughed pretty hard at the other thread because people talked about hitting their nose when taking the mirror off. That's exactly what I did. 5 minute project took an hour, but at least it's done.
