Newbie with a couple questions

First time poster here. I am eagerly awaiting my JK Unlimited that should be delivered in the next couple weeks. I have really enjoyed your forum and have learned a lot. Have any of you used the Rugged Ridge mirror relocation brackets? They seem like a good idea. Also, this summer I intend to paint my wheels black. Are there any advantages to Matte or Gloss, or is it strictly appearance? Thanks for any advice!

First off, welcome and congrats on the Rig...Secondly, I have the RR relo brackets, I dont personally like them too much, just bought them a couple weeks ago, before you buy them let me know if you do decide to (ill sell ya mine). As far as matte or gloss Im not too well aware of either but I would assume just which ever is easier to touch up due to rock rash. But best of luck whatever you decide..and again, welcome to the Forum!

they work fine and all, but when you have the full doors on (or the tops to the half doors as I do) you cannot see out of the passenger side for $#!T, you can adjust it and if you dont care to lean a little (I personally went to walmart and bought little truck mirrors to stick in the corner) Just a personal preference for me, Id just assume go no side view mirrors as its not required by law where I live
