NV241 swap to NV241OR

I have a 2007 JKU with the 6 speed manual transmission backed with the NV241 t-case. I'm curious if anyone has any knowledge about swapping out the NV241 t-case for the NV241OR.

I found an NV241OR out of a 2008 JKU with an AUTO trans. The BIG question is, will a NV241OR out of a 2008 JKU with an AUTO trans fit my 2007 with a 6 speed manual?

Thanks for your help.

Yep, they are the same. The only one different is the 12+ Autos. I have done several of these swaps.

Awesome!
Thanks for the info. Did you run into any issues with the computer or was everything smooth sailing?
Thanks again.

The PCM and TPM don't care what T-Case you run. I did this swap back in 2007 with zero issues

while you are doing the swap.... I recommend installing the TeraFlex 2Lo Kit: https://teraflex.com/shop_items/528f...d962f416e72ea3

Super easy install and a great feature. I actually use mine quite a bit.
