jeep on beach is tough ??

i have an unlimited,with a 2.5 coil lift and 33s,i was on the beach and the jeep was tough going through the sand,i didnt rev it over 2 on the rpms,is it cause i didnt air down tires,is this bad for the jeep,seemed like it was working hard,any tips??

Yes, air down. I had my JK on the OBX beach this past Thanksgiving and was driving on some pretty soft deep sand and it did fine.

I hit the beach fairly often and the sand gets deep and loose, I haven't had much problem, but I do have 325-70/17, which is equal to 35 x 12.50's

HANG ON TIGHT...I SAW THIS IN A CARTOON ONCE...I THINK I CAN DO IT!!
