2012 Wrangler JK oil filter

Can anyone tell me how in the hell to get the oil filter cup off I hate dealerships there is no need to tighten down the 24mm plastic nut like that!!
Can anybody help me out with an Idea on how to remove this!! It is stripped.

The oring was probably dry when they cranked down the cap. Try some Channel Locks on the body along with a wrench on the nut if possible. Looks like you have to go for it to get the cap off. This stuff is ridiculous!
