Rear bucket seats

Finally after sitting on the seats and waiting on a few issues with the Mastercraft brackets I am in business and got my rear buckets installed. A couple months ago Kenny with River Raiders hooked me up with his stock seats out of what is now the Raider ST and now I have 4 stock buckets sitting pretty in the Jeep! Sorry for the night pics but I had to show off my hard work... with the Mastercraft Brackets I just drilled new holes in the bottom seat brackets and 4hrs later I had my seats mounted. (a few issues with tools and the way I went about this, first seat took 3hrs... second seat took 45min)

Looks good, but looks like you lost some leg room in the back. Are they still on sliders?

There is a little less leg room in the back because I have the Tuffy Security Deck in the back but because the seats are tilted back more than the stock bench at 6'2" I still fit back there pretty well. The sliders are not on there because it would be too tall. As it is the back seats are nearly 6" higher than where the front seats are.

Looks - I give it a 10 out of 10.
Function - I give it a 2 out of 10

I don't know about you guys, but i fold down my rear seats a lot to haul crap in the back of the jeep. With the bucket seats installed, I'll lose that function., but i so want bucket seats

Agree with the above post. The stock rear is so uncomfortable, I'd forgo the fold flat to carry peeps in comfort.

I agree I thought long and hard if I really wanted to do it and just put a feeler out on used stock front seats and got a PM from Kenny at River Raiders and gave me an awesome price and best of all he is driving distance. I am sure once I get the hang of it removing the seats is not difficult I have them set up with clevis pins. I also have the Tuffy Security Deck though so to be honest if I need that much storage space to haul something im using the trailer.

Bucket seats and 6 inches higher. This would be a perfect mod for my two little demons and a whole lot cheaper then 4 aftermarket buckets.

Is it still possible to slide the Hi-Lift under there or behind the brackets but in front of the Tuffy (which I also have)?

I can get you a picture of how mine is in there but I just slide my passenger seat all the way forward and then slide the top of the high lift under the front passenger seat then put the bottom under the rear passenger seat and then slide the seat back in place... I think you can kind of see it in the picture but it is too long to go length wise under just the rear seats. It is my quick fix until I find a better option for the hi-lift

The box and the back of the seats are too close I would not want to stick the hi lift behind it would likely tear up the seats and rattle against the box. Also the wheel wells are in the way but there may be a way to attach it toward the top maybe drilling a bracket to bolt it down on the top. I will check this out actually because that would work well! If you have any questions just let me know and I can help.

Looks good! I'm starting to like the idea of stock front seats in the back. I like that you used the mastercraft seat brackets. They give it a nice finished look.
