In my opinion, white tops don't really go well with anything other than white Jeeps. And your location (Lubbock, TX) is going to make it hard to validate the higher price.

If I were wanting to sell the top and not have it sitting around for a while, I'd ask $1500.

I would think it would be worth a lot more than $1500 considering that theres really no way to get kne aftermarket. I couldn't even find one for comparison just a painted textured to for $3000

You're close. $2400'sh depending on how cool you are with your nearest MOPAR parts dealer.

Also, there are other options.
Smittybilt makes a hard top now that is two-piece for about $2200.
And in the $3k range, Wild Boar's top is pretty cool.

Here in Phoenix, the going rate for an OEM unlimited hard top in good condition is between 1800-2200, depending on how fast you're looking to sell it. There's two on Craigslist right now brand new off 2015's for $1800 and $1850.

Unless you find someone who is dead set on finding a white painted top, you're gonna have to sell it cheap. And most people I know with painted tops, aren't the type to look to craigslist for them, or drive a couple hundred miles to buy a used one from a stranger.

See where it goes on ebay. Who knows, you might sell it.

To someone else with a white JK looking for a color matched top? Maybe $1500. To any other JK owner, nothing at all.

You can live in your Jeep, but you can't off-road your house.

Color matched tops are very hard to sell. You need to find someone who needs a hard top, wants a painted one, and has your color. From what I've seen you'll be lucky to get what textured tops in your area are going for if you can sell it at all. At least it's white though and not a more rare color :/

not to mention especially with white, the different age between top and Jeep and different exposure to sun will make the paint not match perfectly. if your painted top doesn't match perfectly why have a painted top...............but than again, it's a Jeep why have a top? LOL

Pretty much my thoughts, tho they could paint it to whatever they want.

For what it's worth, I sold my 2 door 2007 hard top with a crack repair and a fresh paint job for $1200.
