Sythetic Oil Question

Ok I'm getting ready to do my 2nd oil change my 08 JK has 5500 miles on it. It is mostly a weekend toy to ride around in. Should I go with Sythetic Oil or not? Thanks for the help

I chose synthetic, because I believe it has some benefit. How much I don't know. Truthfully, you'd be fine with either.

In my 25 years of driving, I've never used synthetic oil in anything. Conventional oil works perfectly fine in my synthetically challenged opinion.

Yeah, if your just using it on the weekends, I'd skip out on the synthetic and just use regular dino.

use what your dealership/ owners manual recommends...If you dont, then future/ possible engine problems may not be warranteed. Using anything else just allows them to say "not our fault..."....JMO

I guess I'm just old school on oil. I drive with the belief the best oil to have in it is new oil. Change early, change often. I also believe the best filter is the OEM filter.
