GPS Mount?

I'm taking a shot guys, I have a 2010 Unlimited, other than suction cups on the windshield, what do you use to mount your GPS (I have a TomTom but I anything would help)? On my TJ I had a Ram mount screwed into the dent in the top of the dash but the JK has a compass under the cover.Any good vent mounts etc.?

I've just been using one of those stick on discs mounted on the top of the dash near the center stack and the standard mount / suction cup. It works real well. It doesn't fall off going over rough trails because it's pretty much vertical. I also have a RAM for my mountain bike, but it just isn't needed in the jeep and I don't really want to drill holes in the dash. Best of all, I can remove it quickly and easily when I'm away from the jeep without a top. The only thing that's left is the disc, but it's black and blends in with the dash. I've taken lots of complaints over the years of vehicle break ins because just the mount was left on the dash so the vandals thought there must be a gps or something to steal even if there wasn't.

you can mount it to the top where the compass is. thats where I have my mounted, I'm also using the daystar dash in place of the factory one.

I used the bracketron mount. It screws in behind the dash.

I got the my gig but wish I hadn't, aside from the HDD for storing music, it's a POS.

"Dude, did you see that Green Jeep out in the parking lot?"

"Yeah, its' mine..."

I'd still look into the RAM mount systems. They're modular systems so you can configure it however you want to use it.

I have a Garmin 660. After I bought my Jeep, I added the Daystar Dash Tray. I used a RAM Motorcycle Mount (that I previously had mounted on my bike...), and screwed it right onto the Daystar Tray, on the vertical part that sticks up in the back.

No more Suck-tion Cups to fool with, and it stays mounted firmly, until I snap it off and stow it. Doesn't vibrate or move at all.

Best of Luck!

Cheers!
