Anyone tint their windows. If so, what % did you go with?

20%, but if you need to match the back windows you better go 5-15% In NJ I would get ticketed everywhere.

very rarely will you see me with my windows up... thats y i dont reccommend it... at night you just plain cant see out of it... during the day, the glare is terrible so you cant see out of it... i suppose if i did maybe a 30 on the windshield i could... but i think im just going to get rid of the 2.5 and maybe do a 10-15...

Same here. 20% is the closest match to the factory tint on the hard and soft top.

Don't know what mine was, but I got pulled over by the HP and didn't pass the test and had to pull it off the driver and passenger window it was an illegal % here. You can have the back passenger and rear window and thats it. It does get hard to see out of though in my old car I backed right into the car behind me after dark, you couldn't see it at all;( oops!

I went 35% on mine, and it works out just perfect.. I have no issues seeing out at night, you can barely see in during the day and it's almost impossible if it's dark on the inside.

I never did. My doors spend more time in my house then on the Jeep in the summer.

Well, I am about to have the front side windows tinted tomorrow (20%) to get something close to the factory tint on the hardtop windows.
I just had a spot on my face burned off by the dermatologist (2nd time in less than a year, same spot). So, I figured it's time to tint the Jeep's windows.

On a truck I had many years ago, I had 5% tint on the windows. At night, I had to roll down the driver's window when turning left. If I didn't, I ended up hitting the concrete dividers between the street lanes. Not fun! AND, that truck was broken into three times! All because some SOB thought I was hiding something inside. It was completely stock inside, including the factory cassette player. I would recommend against 5% ("Limo") tint. Too many hassles that came with it.

I just had mine done about two weeks ago. 20% all the way around including the windshield. It looks great and i can see just fine at night but my previous truck had 15% all around so I'm kind of used to it.

State Inspection her so went with 35%. Could have gone darker and pulled the doors off for inspection but didn't want to have to worry about the wife dealing with that if she took it. Plus it's a November date so unless I went early then might be a little cold. Always want to do the windshield but was told you need a prescription to have whole windshield vs the little strip at the top.

30% all the way around including hardtop windows. 30% is what is legal on front doors around here. All others are any shade.
