Recently broken into... any thoughts on the Tuffy Tailgate enclosure 282-01?

Title is pretty self explanatory. Looking for some secure storage now that I've been broken into twice. Its only a matter of time before something I value gets ripped off.

I've looked at the bestop instatrunk but i hear the tuffy products tailgate enclosure is more secure (metal vs plastic i guess). Does anyone know if these interfere with the back seat usage on a two door? (i know neither take up the spot of the seat, but I'm curious if they prevent it from tumbling down or anything like that)

Thanks for the help guys!

also, quadratec seems to have the older version of the bestop with the factory sub for 100 bucks. anyway to mod it to work on a 2013?

I've had both of these, but in a 4dr.

Both provide all round security, both would lose a battle with crowbar but the Bestop would go down first while the Tuffy would hold on for a few more rounds.

I had the Bestop in my 2007 and would have bought it again for my 2011 but at the time it wasn't available, so got the Tuffy.

The Tuffy is stronger but is more of a PITA to take in/out and when you switch from a hard to soft top.

So Tuffy wins for security, Bestop wins for flexibility.

I have the Tuffy as well. Works good. A-holes have been in my rig twice since I put it in. I also have the glove box and console insert vault. They haven't gotten past any of it. And yes the seat still folds but you do have a metal wall behind it now. I have my amps bolted to it in the boot with my sub back there all nice and safe.

POG MO THOIN

Thanks guys, i just put in for the tuffy, it was a little cheaper than the bestop and I'll be running no doors for the summer so might as well go for the beefier security
