Why dont people just use 1/4" spacers????

grinding is free and you get to keep te full length of your stud

instead of grinding the calipers to make rims fit he is saying just to use spacers.
IMO id grind the calipers for free to make them fit before spending more $...

I know many 15" wheels grind on JK front calipers, but a couple of minutes with a dremel tool fixes it. Or better yet, just use 16" or 17" wheels.

I don't recommend 1/4" spacers at all, because they diminish the holding ability of your front lug nuts.

I have 17" wheels and 305/65/17...BUT i got a buddy who has a brand new set of 5 35/12.50/15 MT's he'll sell me for $400

i am going to buy 15" wheels but the ones i want are 4" backspace.

just curious why people just dont use spacers..

15x8 w/3.75" bs. procomp series 97's no spacers & no grinding.
Just make sure they don't use the stick on wheel weights.
I also know a guy running Mickey Thompsons and he has no problems.
