wheel Question

right now I have 16x8 wheels on order that r on back order. I know they will fit my jeep ok because I have the same size rim with 35" tires. My question is if I go to a 17" rim and a 35" tire will I have to change anything on my jeep. current lift is 4" suspension. I am thinking about going to 37" tires in the future if I do start offroading more. I know I will have to put a little more lift then. thanks in advance.

I have 17x9 procomps with 4.75 back spacing with 35-1250-17s on them with a 4 inch rough country,no spacers, no rubbing or any probs. if you look back at the last issue of jp mag they had a jk article that said 4.5-4.7 backspace was ideal for bigger tire jks pretty good read(if ya want to read something on jk rims and tires)

depends on the width of your tire. If you go 37's you're gonna need a wider rim, almost guaranteed. It's tough I've learned along the way and I've bought things unnecessarily too. The best thing to do is think about what you said you were gonna do when you bought your jeep. Throw that idea out the window look at a rig that makes you say "Holy Shit" and then build that one.

"Dude, did you see that Green Jeep out in the parking lot?"

"Yeah, its' mine..."
