You're going to find most people on here hate Smitty stuff, just to hate it.

I have no experience with the armor, but I think it's one of the tings I would look elsewhere for. I have their bumpers and winch. All have performed well.

You will also find ( with a little research ) that people on here hate smitty because they have had a bad experience with them, and will now try to get people to save their money and invest it in better made better fitting parts.

I learned the hard way and have tried to pass on my experience to others. The only item i initially went low budget on was my rock rails from smitty. First trip out both flexed enough to cause damage to the rocker panels in an area that is unable to be repaired. I tossed them for some poison spyder stuff that has since held the entire weight of the jeep, used as pivot point, used at a hi lift point with no issues.

I will pretty much never bash a product or company without first hand experience with it.

Some people will throw out comments with no real worl experience but have done enough research to see how bad thier products are and the numerous issues with fitment and failure.

BUt hey they look dope right ??? Your coin, do with it what you like.... don't say I didn't tell you as you type your thread on how they don't line up and suck !

you will get the best real world experience advice here as opposed to numerous other JK communities ?

I had the armor on my last jk. I loved the look. Quality was probably 8 of 10 on the parts that I had. The front fit great and the rear were a little more difficult to fit. All in all I was satisfied. No one else makes anything that looks like that.

I have the front bumper. it fit well and I like the look. also have their winch but I don't use it weekly so I saved a little coin.
it works well. fit well.

Only problem I had was with the packing of the bumper. the bumper itself was very well protected the hardware was thrown in the box loosely and than the UPS pussy couldn't lift it so he dropped it in my driveway and hardware scattered everywhere.
