Soft top advice

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum and the Jeep world. I just got a JK in December and was looking into getting a soft top for it. Just wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations on a certain brand for what fits best and what not.

Lots of options out there for sure. Going for a stock look/fastback/ORH style?

Edit: Some styles look better on the 4dr than 2 dr IMO.

I'm running a bestop Sailcloth Replace-A-Top on my 07 2door. have had it basicly a full year now and love it. It is thick yet easy to fold and hasnt faded at all. the fit i a little loose nut is slowly tightening with age( and i need new soft top hardware which would help )
here was the day i first put it on

Nothing in my jeep is sacred, except my jelly beans and apple liquorice. Don't touch those...

Looking for the angled top. I assume that's what you meant by fastback? Haha I was checking out the Bestop one. Just wanted to seek out other brands.

I have a Bestop Trektop NX which I dig. My JK is a 2 door but you can look up USMCDoc14's JKU to see how good this top looks on a 4 door.

Here's my pros:
1. Easy to install, doesn't require a frame.
2. Its a fast back which looks great on JKUs.
3. You can run it as a safari top with the windows out.
4. You basically have a sun-roof over the front seats that is easy to flip back and close.
5. You can fold that back part of the top under the flipped back sun-roof and roll full convertible without removing the entire top.

Here's my cons:
1. Getting the back window installed can be a bitch if its cold out, there a video out there that shows how to make this easy. The trick is to leave the sides lose and raise up the back of the top and then get the back window started on the zippers before closing everything up. Here's a great video from this very forum on how to install the back window and run full-vert:
2. It wasn't free.

Here's what mine looks like (It's the Jeep in the upper left corner. Not the best shot but since I live in California, its the only side shot I have with the top fully on and the doors-on):

2013 JKR - with one of everything.

Only complaint with my trektop NX is you lose a little storage. Love how quickly/easily it converts to a bikini top.

Bestop Supertop NX (sames as factory top) or the Trektop NX.
