Huh, gone like Keyser Söze

Name was here / is really: jscherb / Jeff Scherb

Bummer, it was cool looking at all the shit he wasn't going to sell us.

EDIT: Still up on WF: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f274/ba...176276-33.html

EDIT 1.5: also on JF: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f96/j...9/index46.html

EDIT2: and on JK-F: http://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-sh...314392/page26/

CreepersDigest (OJL/JWN/ARB/FU2) is chiming in on the JK-F thread, maybe he lobbied jscherb to pull the thread here

It's weird that he removed it from here and not over on those other places. I wonder if someone pissed him off. I found the Truckyeah article and linked that instead.

Thanks guys!

Given our recent track record, it may very well be one of us that pissed him off

No shit! I must have mentally fapped to that barn door and modular hardtop skin piece a half dozen times.

Well Asswipe did lobby to have all vendors boycott this place. It wouldn't surprise me if he told the guy some load of bullshit to persuade him to close the thread.

Idk... Hope y'all aren't pissed at me due to my involvement in that thread.

Super fucking angry!

Seriously, Stubaru Justy McPintler, you need to stop worrying about people being pissed at you! If I ever started worrying about people being mad at me, i'd have friends.

Dude... if you felt my pulse right now you'd know that I have absolutely no worries regarding this kind of shit.

Just like hoping it doesn't rain tomorrow... doesn't mean I'm worried that it will.

Understand?

Anyway... jscherb deleted all his posts on 3-12 so that was like 8 days ago. I'm just curious as to why he deleted the posts here and only here.

If I felt your pulse... Sounds almost like a gay porn line.

I was referring to your involvement in the Arb Goreman Digest chronicles, mostly. Nobody is mad at you for adding levity and humor to an already brutally funny thread.

It really is too bad Austin is so fuckin far away, i'd love to throw back a few and eat pretzels out of a cute squirrel bowl while pondering shit beyond this place.

lol.

Well quite a few members had a great deal of interest in the tops and that ( to me) is completely separate from anything in chat... should be anyway. I just don't like the thought of someone that had good ideas regarding a particular jeep mod, being brainwashed by our feathery lil schizophrenic seamstress. I don't wanna lose any legitimate or helpful people on here.. especially because of some negative perception of this community brought about by someone with the integrity of a stale donut.

Indeed... If we were neighbors then we could really double team some things and probably get a lot of shit accomplished. I have no idea what that means.

Oh and by the way... Chelsea may give you one hell of a licking if you eat out of her squirrel. She's very particular about who pokes around in her stuff.

Sounds like you two need some alone time?

Seriously don't know what all the top excitements about? I'd feel weird about driving my Jeep that is starting to look like a Land Rover. Sort of like that Lambo kit on the Fiero in Action Jackson. It just didn't work... The car, not the movie Okay, I'm digressing... We were talking about clown cars?

Typically, this is what I aim for when eating out something that resembles a furry woodland creature. Better get some reciprocity after ingesting a dozen hairs.

Double team... lol

That jscherb guy straight up cleaned house, he deleted everything! Weird.

I assure you that she keeps her woodland critter very silky smooth. No matter what kind of treat you're fishing around for in there, you definitely won't get tangled up in any fur.

Yep... poof... all gone. That's definitely a little strange. I have no doubt that the bird probably contacted him. He seemed like the type of guy that Angry would idolize.

Maybe jscherb was the cousin/ brother/ in-law from Tennessee... idk.

if he was really trying to get a business going, he wouldn't be so thin skinned as to leave a good potential group of customers. I don't remember seeing the guy's stuff (no smutty comment needed LOL) but he should realize there are very few folks on here with stock Jeeps. IE target rich environment for sales.

oh don't worry about folks not liking you stub, I tell people all the time if they don't think ii'm an asshole they just don't know me yet. LOL most people who I call friends would agree with that.

people will still hang out here, even knowing you're a &%##[email protected] LOL

Well I bit my tongue every time he bumped that fucking post. It pissed me off that he kept teasing his brilliance and masterful skills with no plan of producing any of it and every time someone made a suggestion he claimed he was already working on it then 3 days later POOF there was a drawing of it. I think he was just working everyone for ideas and trying to get "air time" hoping someone would buy his concepts like before. He probably realized once someone figured him out that this is not the place you want flaming your ass. Of course I haven't been wearing my tinfoil hat lately, so I could be way off base.

That's correct. As someone posted, I've got threads on several other forums for the hardtop project, and all of those are active and I'm getting lots of good input. The thread on this board wasn't active at all, so I decided it wasn't worth the effort to maintain the thread on this board due to lack of interest.

Nobody pissed me off, I'm just pretty busy and didn't think it was worth the time to maintain a thread that wasn't of interest to people here.

I didn't keep up with it but I sure thought that there was a good deal of interest.. at least initially. Glad that there wasn't anything else that played into the decision to shut it down.

Best of luck with whatever direction your ideas take you. You certainly have a great deal of talent and vision.

Thank you very much.

Yes, initially there seemed to be a lot of interest, but in the last month as I would post something on each forum, people responded with input in the other forums but on this forum there were no responses for weeks.

Mostly I post my projects on these forums to get input and criticism from people - I find that by sharing what I'm doing with people and asking for input, I get great ideas and suggestions that help me improve my projects. I wasn't getting any input on this forum, so that's why I deleted the thread.

I am still maintaining the threads on the other forums, I'm getting lots of good input there, and incorporating lots of the suggestions I get into the final design of the Safari Cab hardtop.
