Floor liner levitating

I purchased weather tech floor liners for my JKU. Today was the first day I had the doors off and top down, I look back and the back seat floor liner is 12" off the floor and about to fly out of the jeep!

Does anyone have any ideas other than weights to secure to to the floor?
I was thinking of somehow using velcro to secure it to the carpet.

I did the velcro tape with the adhesive backing and it worked for a while but the velcro soon collected enough lint, clit litter and dog hair to where it would veclroize any longer. Remedy. Got rid of the rear pads.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. Did it seem to solve the problem, with the front not being held down?

It worked for me but I have the husky mats and was only having the rear lift up. I would think you could do the same thing with the front of the mat too

I bet if the back of the mat can't lift up and get air under it, it will probably stay put all together.

I've never had much luck with velcro holding very well to vehicle carpet. I suppose it depends on the particular carpet (haven't tried in the Jeep), but it often doesn't hold very well because the carpet fibers aren't loops, so there is nothing for the velcro to really grab.

Not so much the pubic hairs as the tiny bits of toilet paper that get rolled up in tiny wet balls and hence the term Clitty Litter.
