hey please help me out! my 2010 jeep jk wrangler horn does not work. I have checked all my fuses and their good. my horn itself works when i apply 12v dc power to its leads. however i have no power at my leads and at the fuse box terminals. I believe the circuit is complete when you push the horn button. That is where i think my problem is. how do i safely remove the airbag and horn button? any other ideas? thanks!
Try your dealer , I visited Sun Coast and had a conversation with the Service Manager here in Florida . And he was very informed about the ongoing issue with the clock spring . I wasn't demanding but stated that I believed that it was a safety issue that was similar to the issue with GM's ignition switch . He Laughed but still made a call to Chrysler . And they replaced mine under warranty . He mentioned that he doesn't use the normal course of action via E;mail , but has a contact at Chrysler that he deals with that he gets a verbal OK to avoid the Bean Counters that deny every request on principal . Pretty good result , from a company that has a reputation of deny every thing , Always .
