soft top issue

Has anyone had any problems with their soft top hardware? It seems that the rear bow of my 4-door JK is raised. The rear window's velcro has trouble meeting the velcor on the underside of the top. My husband and I took the entire top down and inspected the frame which appears intact. We followed proper procedure for putting the top back up and we are still having the issue. I am able to pull the rear bow down but it does not stay and it seems to be putting unnecessary pressure on the top.

Seems like you may have the rear supports backwards or hooked to the wrong rollbar mounts they should crossover each other.

There is a nylon web strap that runs from the rear now to the next one forward. This strap determines the location of the rear bow, relative to the next one. Sometimes when you lay the top down, the strap can get looped around the end of the rear now, effectively shortening the strap, and making it almost impossible to make the top fit. From the description of your issue, it sounds like this could be the problem. First time it happened to me, it took quite a bit of head scratching to get it figured out.
