AEV Snorkel finnaly on....

This went allot easier than I thought, even cutting the hood didn't bother me....well, ok maybe a little . The directions are so easy it is hard to screw this up.

I did make one change in that I cut a small piece of rubber for backing between the pillar and where the snorkel mounts to it, just scared of rubbing metal on paint. Overall I am very pleased with it, built like a tank.

It's the prefilter, the Ram Air is not available as of yet. I have only driven it 2 days and it definately catches srap in it.

cool
probably one of my next mods
how about a shot under the hood and a close up of the hood cut?
does it change the sound of the jeep?
I like the sound of my intake but I'll ditch it for the snorkel

Only affects the sound very mildly under acceleration, but you have to be listening to it to hear it.....here is a pic or 2 under the hood for you..

and the cut....I have sanded and primed but not painted yet...
