17x8 +10 or 17x9 -12

I have a stock 14 jk considering a leveling kit or small lift later but for now i want to know 17x8 +10 or 17x9 -12 with no rub or mods

17x8 +10 would equal about 4.8" backspace, the 17x9 -12 is a 4.5" backspace.
I'd go with the 17x9.

depends what size tire. Narrow tires on wide rims look funny too wide f tires might not be recommended for 8" rims. If going with something like a 285/75-17 I would go with the 8" rim if going with 35/12.5 I would go with the 9" rim. If you are keeping stock tires I would get the 8" rim for sure.

Good call. Totally spaced on the issue of tire size, but that would make a difference.
