Treks off road bumper

Is anyone running the Treks off road rear bumper/tire carrier? I'm basically looking for first hand knowledge on this. Likes, dislikes, quality etc..

I am running it and it's a great bumper, I've beat it on rocks like crazy and no damage what-so-ever, other than paint of course.

Not particularly a great latch, has to be lined up perfectly when you install the bracket or it won't stay closed, but now that I moved the locking bracket over, it works great. It would have been much easier if they had just installed the bracket in the correct spot to begin with. It has a high lift mount and cb mount standard with it too. The pictures on their website aren't their newest design.

Here is the newest as far as I know!

Thanks for the reply. On their site they show a tire carrier that closes with the rear door. This isn't the newest design??

Good spy... didn't even know they changed the design again!

I wonder if I can retro-fit mine to work like their new one?

I know I've seen a post or two on here where someone used the brackets from expidition one (I think) to make their tire carrier swing with the rear gate.

I have not run it, but do have two in stock, they did change the design to the one that opens with the tailgate. It looks to be very slick and smooth working. The bumper looks very tough, if I did not already have a bumper on my jeep I would have seriously considered this setup.

These guys are very good to work with and have been helpful to me as a new shop.

I would say the quality is top notch

Thanks for the feedback Paulie. I will probably go with that set up then.
