Seriously though... need a repair kit as well for my spare ORH top.. I thought Bestop made one no?

If not I will have the boat top guy fix it.

my jeep came with a patch about 4x5 inches. I believe it was in the bottom of center console.

http://www.tear-aid.com/
We use this stuff for temp repairs of ballistic blankets in Coast Guard Helicopters. Should work on a jeep top. If you are careful you will barely notice it.

I tore mine on a tree limp. About 10" tear. I hand sticht it with heavy thread and then covered it with 3M 5200 in black. Works great. 3M 5200 is a marine grade adhesive and sealant so you have to get it at a marine store.

I used that Gorilla tape, its like duct tape but thicker. its black so it matches the top pretty well. i've had on for a winter and had to replace it once and i live where it snows so i'll take it.

x2 I just put some on my friends Tj last weekend. It's super strong and doest leave a residue behind like duct tape, it also matched his top perfectly. Much stronger then duct tape.

Soft Top Patch

Walmart sells this repair kit. Cut it to size and Iron on inside of top, Then use use fabric sealer on the edges and exterior of top. It is in the fabric accessories section. Works Great.

i tore my top and just used some old beat up soft top windows i had. i cut a piece of the material from around the window and hand sewed it on with a little silicon to seal it.

make sure you use uv thread if you plan on keeping the top for a while on a dd or the sun will rot the thread.
