Question Soft Top Questions

Friends, I just got a 2009 black Jk with the soft top, my salesman wasn't very savy. I have never had a jeep before, this is why the JK-Rookie!
When I'm driving over 30mph I notice that the section over the front seat is lifted by the wind. I dont know if this is normal...
Then if i'm driving with my windows down the section over the front seat is flat...
I'm confuse...

Without taking the side & rear window how fast can I drive...?

Hold on. Are you saying it's lifting from the windshield, or the center is just bubbling from the pressure in the vehicle?

All vehicles will pressurize a bit with the windows closed and the top will expand a bit, most noticably right above your head.

The is a bow that runs across the width of the jeep. It has u shaped "brackets" on either end. Make sure those brackets are engaged with the tubing that runs the left of the jeep. That should tighten you up.

Yup normal. Just make sure the plastic insert on the sides are in good and there is no flapping. That will wear out the top really fast.
