Upgrades with out gears

I just bought a stock 2010 wrangler sport with a six speed manual transmutation I am wanting to do some upgrades as far as 35in tires and a 3.5 lift with the stock gears handle that

I would say yes if they are 3.73 or 4.10. That will really dog the engine with 3.21 gears.

2014 JKU, red, 2.5" AEV lift,6.4L VVT, 35" Duratrac's. 4.10, Gen Right bumpers, VR 8000 winch, Pro Rock 44.

Thanks for the input I think it still has the factory 3:21 gears tho

Search around, there's always someone getting rid of their 3.73's or 4.10's...if you're on a budget...or just do it right and get the gears you need. I learnt my lesson. The dealer set up my jeep with 34's and a 3 in lift and left it with the worthless 3.21's...it's like towing a heavy load all the time....

No reason to save $300 when it costs $1000-$1600 for the regear. Get 4.88's in there, that is the recommended gear ratio for the 3.8L w/ a 6-speed. With Black Friday coming up you should be able to get a decent price on new gears.
