Can you run with no top but leave the windows in place like the offroad heros brand? I dont feel like waiting 2 months to get a soft top, it will be middle of winter by then.

Main reason for this is to cut down on wind for my wife and daughter but use my spiderwebshade.

Soft or hard doors? I have hard doors on my 2011. The 3 rear windows are attached to the top so no you can't run without the top in place. Unless the spider web shade has the zippers to hold them in place.
Not sure how soft doors would apply since I don't have them

No experience with the ORH top, but the Trektop NX needs the top portion... you can run without windows, but not without the top... the windows wouldn't last more than a few feet down the road.
