Sizing up a "TONKA" decal for the hood?

Looking to place a Tonka logo on my 2008 JK Unlimited X Detonator Yellow where the "Rubicon" logo would have been if it was that model.

I have seen a single ebay seller with it, but have not been able to search effectively here to find any examples or dimensions that would give it a similar look.

Any sticker dimensions, pics, or happy customers of a similar project with dealer recommendations would be appreciated (Hmmmm, wonder if I can get a TONKA license plate???).

Thanx in advance.

You do that and you may get an urge to drive off in a lake and ask people to pay for it.

Do a search for "stickers" and you should get some ideas. There are a few places that have the rubicon font and size and will do it in whatev text you want. Maybe someone else can chime in that knows the place that makes em

Yep, talked with him earlier. We were just trying to figure out the correct dimensions.

A search of stickers, tonka, didn't find much. Certainly not so much to be "played out". But you are correct; to each his own

Thanx

I got some black reflective stickers for my jeep from pixeldecals, could not be happier with the customer service and quality of product.

OK, it took me a bit, and a search function ON ANOTHER BOARD , but I finally got the joke.

Sorry, I'm new here. I'll catch on soon enough

As I haven't seen any examples in my search other than one on ebay, I'll guestimate it off of a Rubicon sticker at the local dealership (if I can't find the dimensions here) and let pixeldecals know. Just gotta figure out how far it can stretch without looking wrong.

Doesn't pixeldenz already have the font?

Here's a good thread, Jason De Monto from Airpark Jeep has the downloadable actual Rubicon font....just follow the link in post #2.

I think what he's looking for feedback on is how to size up a regular tonka logo, like this:

http://www.pixeldecals.com/shop/inde...product_id=117

I'm not sure how it would look made very big at all on the short side profile the JK hood has. It's a lot easier to use chunky artwork like that on a TJ.

Any of my decals can be scaled larger very easily, or distorted horizontally or vertically. Some of them are difficult to make smaller if they have fine details, but that's never an issue with something like a hood decal.

I also suggested that he think about just doing "TONKA" in the rubicon font.

Rubicon decals measure approx. 20" x 1.75"

Scaled to that size, the Tonka loko looks kinda funky, IMO. (1st Example)

With the width scaled back a little, the 2nd example maybe looks a little better.

Otherwise, we have the rubicon font option. (Bottom)
