Any thoughts on this horn?

I was looking for a stock horn replacement and I came across these, the PIAA 400Hz/500Hz Low Pitch Sports Horn Kit. They arent as low as I would like them to be but I think its a much needed replacement then the pos we all have on there now. I also plan on adding an air horn or possibly a train horn one of these days.

Here is a video so you can here what they sound like. YouTube - PIAA Sports Horn

It's got to sound better than stock. Mine sounds like a croaking catfish laying on the lake bank. I say go for it.

I like it. I have been looking at a replacement too, and most of them have that ricer sound. This one sounds like a 73 Cadi!

I like the idea of the little cover.... my stock horn sounds bad enough normally, but when it packs full of mud it sounds like that Froggy kid from Little Rascals.

I'm going with the Aoooga type horn. If I can find a nice sounding one that isn't 60 dollars.

Yeah now if I could just figure out how to make the horn button more easy to press. I hate that I like have to like mma punch it if I just wanted to give it a little tap.

That horn blows!

Sorry, had to. Just dont get a autozone/advance/pep boy style air horn with the red plastic horns. I bought one a while back for my truck. Opened it, tested it on the battery, took it back within like 15minutes. They sound like a really loud version of the baby horn the JK's have

Not much better than stock

Installed these today. Only a slight improvement over stock. Not worth the effort.

I went with the WOLO "Bad Boy" two-tone electric, but sounds like an air horn. It is loud and annoying, so I like it! No train horn (which is WAY over the top - not to mention illegal), but it's better than the stocker and draws no ill looks from five-oh.

look at the hella super twins. i mounted mine right behind the grille. they echo off of buildings when you hit the horn. people assume the crash position if they pull out in front of you and you hit the horn.

I added a set of trumpets to my old truck years ago, the only bad thing were my friends scaring the living shot our of pedestrians.

I will second this horn. Mounted behind the front bumper and it scares pedestrians too.

www.HornBlasters.com is what I'm getting. Using their constant duty Viair compressor with the Nathan air horn.... that'll get em' out of the way. I had the triple trumpet style on my TJ. Scared the piss out of people at 150 psi.

That's what I'm getting put on right now. I am getting the upgraded Viar 450 compressor so I can use it for on board air as well.
W&S Offroad is hooking me up. Their prises are amazing on these kits. If these are what you are wanting, shoot them a PM.
