If you are still within the factory 36/36, the best warranty is the Chrysler Lifetime.....covers a ton of stuff, it's lifetime, and it's from the manufacturer.

2015 2dr Rubi, manual shift, windows, and door locks, love this thing

Yep!

IMO, don't even waste your money on 3rd. party extended warranties.

If you *have* to do it and ignore this advice? Than perhaps look into the EasyCare warranty?

http://www.easycare.com/

I had this on two vehicles in the past and can at least confirm they're not some "fly by night" outfit. They actually did pay out on a major claim (failed transmission) and a claim for a bad wheel bearing/rocker arm. Apparently, they pay the service places by giving them a corporate credit card number to charge the work to -- so it's pretty clear-cut for the shops. No big hassles getting someone to accept it.

But all in all? I'd do the real Chrysler warranty or not bother -- especially with the lifetime option available.

I bought the lifetime Chrysler "warranty"(service contract) about a month after I got my Jeep. I paid a little more for it because I wasn't the original owner and it was on the edge of the 4 year 48k mile cutoff. Before this I had a 05 Chrysler 300c and the 100k mile service contract I put on that at purchase paid for itself the first month I had the car. It then went on to pay out almost 15k in parts and labor chasing all the problems that car had so it was a no brainer to add a lifetime to the jeep. Side note for those that are considering financing it into the purchase price of their rig....don't. Chrysler will take payments over 24 months WITH 0% INTEREST.

I bought mine directly from chrysler. Looks to be dealer, over the phone, or online. Go to jeep.com and look under the owners tab, service & more, Mopar vehicle protection

Researched it and called.

$3,779 for Lifetime plan. $100 Deductible each repair.

Any lift other than a MOPAR lift up to 2 1/2inches "can void the warranty".

My wife's '11 Grand Cherokee Hemi was out of warranty with 49k on the odo. The TIPM was failing and I was looking at a $1500 repair.

I was able to buy the MaxCare 3yr/unlimited mileage for $1700 from my dealer. I think the list price on that warranty was $2600, but I know the guy and he gave to me at basically his cost. You can buy the same warranty online - Official Mopar Warranty - but you have to take your vehicle to be inspected. My dealer beat the online prices. The online official Mopar warranties are Jeep dealers selling the warranties at a discount. Work with your local dealer.
