sirius radio

My wife has the factory radio with sirius in her liberty. I on the other hand have just the plane jane cd player. I looking at getting the stratus 6 radio from sirius. Where would be a good spot on the jeep to mount the antenna??? I have a soft top. Or would it be easier to just get a factory radio with sirius?? Are there any extra wires in the back of the radio for the sirius antenna??

Put your antenna on the roll bar. I mounted my receiver (with sticky velcro) on the console just behind the shifter. I have the small console, so I figured that mounting it there would keep fewer eyes off of it. I ran the anteanna wire under the passenger seat carpet and up through the padding on the roll bar.

I've done it both ways. I liked the factory radio with Sirius becuase of the user interface... not having to reach down to use the accessory radio. Now I have an Alpine x-100. I probably have the factory radio laying around somewhere. If I remember correctly, it was single disc with Sirius.

I've got the 6 disc changer w/ Sirius. The antenna is mounted on roll bar, near the speaker bar on the passenger side (under the roll bar padding). If my Rubi didn't come with the radio, I wouldn't have sat radio, but now that I do have it....I love it!!! Outlaw Country and Playboy Radio is the best, LOL!!!!

if that doesnt work just stick the magnet antenna on the front near the windshield. in my silverado i just had the antenna sitting on the dashboard but jeeps dont have as big a slope to the windshield as the truck did.

also if you want better quality sound get a radio and sirius box rather than the little plug in units. just my opinion others may vary
