Anyone installed the new Pilot LED tail lights?

Does any one have any pics of the Pilot LED taillights installed? Here is the sight at Quadratec where they are sold.

They don't work that well... Fast flasher rate.. Their load resistor is not calculated right..I am sure we will see a lot of issues..

I have them.. In fact got a second set from them with the same issue.. I can fix it by changing the load resistor.. But I want THEM to fix it..
I believe they made a "marginal" calculation.. Once in a while after 10 fast RH flashes the flash rate goes to normal.. But it never happens on the LH side (may be different circuit length..)

does anyone know why they are 100 bucks more expensive for JK versus all the other models they sell em for? just cause JK is new and figure we are more gullible? wtf... it's not like much more material or research goes into them.

Good question.. I got mine for $100.00 each...which is still overpriced...

Due to the fact that JK's are new you really don't need them. It's not like the owner of an older vehicle who needs to replace the whole damn light due to it's wear and tear. They figure some people will pay for the "Trendy Crap" whatever the cost is!

No it's because the JK has a contoured quarter panel and the housing is much more complicated. The older ones mount like a standard trailer lamp.

........My other hobbies include: Older cars and trucks; Spending money on unfinished projects, and continuing to not finish them...

Lame, get lite dots:

I have them because they won't get knocked off by a tree anymore...or a rock...or a honda civic.
