2007 JKU front speaker pods

I just swapped out my stock infinty system for a Kenwood DVD headunit, small Kenwood class D unadjustable amp for the front component sets and the rollbar speakers with coaxial. Changed the rear sub to a 8" kenwood shallow with a CX Kicker amp.

I want to change out the 6.5" Kenwood KFC-P709PS component speakers in the dash to the 7" Kenwood Excelons to try for some more bass/mids.....anyone know if they would fit.

Anyone know if the 7" would fit or can you name a component set that hits harder to swap in?

Thanks.

I just replaced mine with MB Quart 6.5" components and the fit by triming the hole to a larger diamater. I think you coould fit 7" in the with some more triming.
