Wheel Upgrade! Black Rock Viper 900's!

Santa was pretty good to me this past year, and threw some extra Jeep-Mod funding my way.

I used it to swap out my Stock Wheels with the Black Rock Viper 900's. Sorry about the Garage Pics, but it's pouring rain out today, and I just had these put on a few hours ago. The wrong Center Caps were shipped (Tungsten color...), and the Black ones have been reordered and will be here next week.

They only stick out an additional two inches, and don't look so "Stuck Under the Fender", like the Stock Wheels did. You can see a couple of inches of the tires outside of the fender here:

Cheers!

Looks good. They are on my short list for wheels also. I think I would do black though. They look great!

Those look great! Are they hubcentric? What is the size/backspacing? Thanks!

You made a dang fine judgement call in my opinion. But I got the black ones and love them...

Did you need a spacer behind them?
I am thinking of them.

Shouldn't need a spacer as long as you get the right backspacing. I think those come with 4.5" of BS.

Thanks for the comments, Shipmates! To answer your questions, they're 17"x8", Offset is "0", Backspacing is 4.5, and they are Not Hubcentric. Also, to answer the other question above about Spacers, no spacers were needed.

My Stock 17" Aluminum Wheels were 17"x7.75", Backspacing was 44.45, and I'm not sure what the Offset is on them.

The new wheels certainly did a transformation on my Jeep! I'm really impressed with them so far. I love the way it brought my wheels outwards more, instead of having them hidden under the fenders. My Black Center Caps will be in this week, and I'm also switching the Lug Nuts to Black Spline Locking Lugs.

Here are a few Outside pics taken yesterday:

Cheers!
