If it's just there for the day, depends on the situation. More than one day, they should.

Last time I had warranty work performed, my dealership said that they "had none available". They offered to take me wherever I needed to go and drop me off .

I think it's up to the individual dealership, in terms of whether or not they "want" to provide a rental to you.....not sure.

The short answer is no. The warranty does not specify rental car will be provided for warranty work. However some dealerships do offer this as a courtesy.

I don't believe the standard warranty does. Many extended warranties do though.

It is all dealer discretion.

My dealership acted like I was smoking crack when I asked for one with my last jeep.

Guess I must have been to think that they would.

I bought a Chrysler Extended Warranty ... pretty sure it includes a rental.

Car Rental Allowance

Maximum Care will pay up to $35 a day for a maximum of five days ($175 maximum) anytime a covered component described in your Plan Provision or Basic Chrysler Warranty fails, rendering the vehicle inoperable and in need of overnight repairs. Car rental allowance coverage is not provided where loaner vehicle coverage is provided by the warranty or the dealer. The rental car must be obtained from a dealer or from a licensed rental agency. Rental coverage is subject to state and local laws and those imposed by the rental agency. Chrysler is not responsible for any refusal of a rental agency to rent a vehicle to you.
