Smittybilt Bumper

My Smittybilt XRC front bumper arrived yesterday. Can't wait to start putting it on. May be a couple days yet though.
Very impressed with the packaging of the actual bumper. Hardware - not so much. They just threw a bunch of bolts and washers loosely into the box. Which meant most of them wound up in my driveway and front walk as the UPS guy struggled to bring the box to the door. (I was not home at delivery time so I'm assuming that's why they're everywhere)
no instructions but I have those from online.
Looks very nice and well finished. Heavy sucker to. LOL

My hardware and instructions were neatly packed in boxes. It took me almost as long to get everything unpacked as it did to put it on.

good to know this wasn't the normal way they do things.

any issues when you put your's on? looks like remove 8 bolts and drill two holes slap it on? I have heard there is some trimming needed.

I have the XRC MOD, but it went pretty easy and no trimming. Most people here will poopoo the smitty stuff and make it sound like your Jeep will explode as soon as you mount them, but my front and rear with tire carrier have been on for about a year and a half I think with no issues, no rust other than a few spots that have had some rock hits.

Please don't complain about the packaging or quality of Smitybilt products. They will have the 10 year old in the Chinese enslavement camp that built it beaten.

LOL

I have to admit it did surprise me to see made in China on the box. I guess that should be expected.
