True the DS is connected to the TC however the TC is also connected to the transmission/gear box
Luckily the TC stays at the same location so front DS length remains the same.
Note that is in reference to prior 12 non Pentastar models, should be the same for 12+ but don't know for sure.
The repair kit is relatively new and haven't seen any feedback on them yet.
However IMO it's a good option if they are good quality for someone in the 2.5-3" lift Category since the OEM DS is stronger than a 1310 and is more forgiving regarding alignment.
