Curious on who isn't afraid to wheel their daily driver? To anyone that doesnt, I wish I was rich too.

I wheel mine, but not too hard. I have a truck too so I don't have to DD it, but I prefer to drive the JK.

When the weather is too hot or raining I drive the jeep when it is nice out I ride the bike. But summer is coming so I will drive the jeep more. I don't baby the jeep on trails but I am not a drunken crazed fool either.

I would say that 90% of the members here daily drive and wheel their rigs. You aren't going to instantly destroy your rig just because you air down the tires and run over some rocks and dirt.

Go have fun...a stock Jeep will shock you with it's ability!

I wheel my DD. This weekend, however, I started to think twice about it. Rear driver wheel was 6 ft off the ground. Dropped in a nasty hole at Morris Mountain. That one even has me thinking I might be better of trailering and moving to the LJ. It was one of those cases where you cannot skinny pedal to drive out of an endo as there was a rock right in the center in front of me. Closest call I have had yet to a nasty flop.

I have jeeps. I do shit to them.

I wheel my DD. I "try" to be careful, but I blew my front r&p and locker last month. Pulled the shafts, and drove to work the next day.

2012 JKU - 37" MTRs, RIPP Supercharger, ProRock44, 4.88s, ARB lockers F/R, RCVs, Reid knuckles, Poly'd steering, armor/skids, bunch of other stuff.

I do too. Part of the fun of ownership is driving the Jeep. Personally I wouldn't want a trailer only rig as it would only have one purpose, like my dirt bike!!

re:Who wheels their Daily Driver

who buys a Jeep only to Daily Drive it? That'd be most foolish at 11-17 mpg.
I aint rich but I sure as all-get-out enjoy beating the daylights out of it, pullin into the staging area and airing up while the buggy's and other trailer rigs are being loaded and then passing them at 80MPH on the freeway home after I had climbed the same things they did all day. The looks of bewilderment are more than worth having trail-pinstriping, replacment of parts ( fun) and stories to tell ( not to mention kids with huge grins on their faces in the back seat. Then, Monday morning commute most of my fellow 9 to 5 ers know my overpriced vehicle wasn't in the garage all weekend....

I wheel both my daily drivers... which is scary because of how fun it is wheeling on 32"s again!!(

*drove 15 hours with death wobble on my honey-moon wheeling trip... wife just called in to work and handed me another drink. Knowing she WILL do that means I want to make sure she dosnt have to.

The 4x4 community, more so than hot rods, need a spare ride. Buy a clunker, run toll roads and fail inspections. Then you don't cry when people don't wave.

Soon to be a vendor!!!
Looking for a good Rat Rod JK donor vehicle.

Exactly! This is why I sold this......

To buy this......

Nothing like driving your Jeep to work or where ever on a nice day.

I wheel my dd all the time, i always carefully check the trail, i have broke a few small items but nothing bad yet.

I daily and wheel my JK on 37s. I wheel it harder than I should when I go out, but I don't get too stupid. A tow rig would certainly let me have more of a "good time" though when I'm out.

Bought mine as a daily driver but since I also have a truck I don't necessarily drive the jeep everyday anymore. I do wheel the shit outta mine though and occasionally make peace with it when trying crazy obstacles for the first time or the second or third...lol.

Drove it from Tucson to the Rubicon and back last year. Wheeled the shit out of it as usual on the trail with no issues. Just this week I checked the toe for the first time in almost a year and it was still dead on.
