what hardware to attach license plate to tramp stamp??

I just got my Tramp Stamp (not the TSII) and Im not really sure how im going to bolt the license plate on. It didnt come with any sort of hardware and the holes arent threaded nor do they have clearance behind them for anything since it bolts flush with the tailgate. How have you guys solved this problem?

I riveted my tramp stamp on with small rivets and actually used larger rivets for the plate itself. It has held up great and nobody is ever stealing my plate !

pretty sure that right there is how the TSI is to be installed.

I got the TSII and bolted it on.

Ive got the second revision of the TSI which has bolt holes around the perimeter instead of the rivet holes but I believe the mounting holes for the license plate are the same. The holes look too big for a 3/16 rivet, what size are you using? Also, what about the part of the rivet that sticks out the back, are yall grinding them flush?
