D44 Clutches: JK versus other D44

Just trying to confirm if these will work in my JK D44 also? The JK is not listed here on this site, but the JK specific ones are around $300!

What makes them different in the JK?!

all other D44:

JK D44:

what makes the $200 price difference in these D44 clutches

I know different part numbers.....just kind of hoping they were gouging JK owners by listing JK specific and the others would work.

No way I'd pay $300

So what makes the JK 44 rear different from other 44 rear in terms of the LSD clutches?

Jk d44s have a slightly larger ring gear. The carriers are not the same.

Its not a fashion show

While the ring gear is slightly longer, I was under the impression the NON RUBI JK 44 uses standard D44 carriers. The difference is the JK uses thick cut gears, removing the need to change carrier offset depending on gear ratio... The carrier is the same for 3.21 up to 5.38.

If if is a rubicon D44, then yes, the carriers are different.
