Towing

I live on a lake but do not leave my boat on the water. I have a 15 ft boat ramp, not sure on the grade maybe 5-8%. My boat is a 20 foot inboard about 3500lbs.

I currently have a beater truck with V-8 I have used to pull the boat in and out of the water. The beater had developed mechanical problems and needs to be sold.

Your thoughts on the ability of my 2010 2 door to pull the boat in and out of the water?

1x per year the boat gets driven on normal roads 1/4 miles to be serviced. I know the 3500 is in excess if the 2 doors tow rating opinions on safety?

My thoughts are in and out of the water should be fine on the road is very sketchy.

No problemeaux at the launch if you use 4 wheel low. On the highway for the 1/4 mile run should be no problem, just take it easy.

Steady

The 4 door is rated at 3500lbs so your drivetrain is up to it. The problem with the 2 door's short wheelbase is you get the 'tail wagging the dog' syndrome. Steady as she goes, Mr. Sulu.
