Would you fix up a Call of Duty?

Has anyone owned a Call of Duty JK and have you fixed it up or left it alone?
I can't leave things alone especially my jeep?

I can't see why it would be any different than fixing up a regular model.

I'm not sure how their value is holding up compared to something like a Rubicon, but as for myself personally, I would never buy a "call of duty edition" anyway. I don't know what the demand is like for those on the used car market.

If you're that concerned about it, my advice is to fix it up as much as you want, but keep all the stock parts!
That way if you re-sell it and you think that it would be worth more stock, you can just put all the parts back on and save the mods for your next project (assuming there is one)

I have a call of Duty MW3. It replaced my 2010 Rubicon that was killed by Sandy. So far I've thrown on a 2.5 Teraflex lift and my old Mickey Thompson wheels and Duratrac Tires. I also removed the MW3 emblem and added a Rubicon decal from Pixeldecals.com I still have the original parts, so If I were to trade it in, I could just swap everything.

I would add things. Just keep it close to the MW way, if you can. make it look more that they would use in the game. i might be speaking stupid... but id rock it!

Absolutely. Add the touches you like and make other MW3 owners jealous!

I cant see why not. Its YOUR Jeep after all. So do what you want with it. Thats the great things about Jeeps, there are endless ways to make it yours.
I gave up caring about resale and just build it the way I want it to be. Its not like the MW3 editions are really that rare (no offense by any means), so i doubt you'll be losing much value by modding it compared to modding any other models.

JK's seem to sell for more with good mods.

2008 JKU Rubicon
TerraFlex 4" coils
Fox 2.0's
Smitty SRC Bumper
Smitty XRC Winch
Hella Rally 4000's
Hella H4 Headlight conversion
K&N CAI
Diablo In Tune
Ripp Headers
American Racing Mojave 17x8
Cooper AT3 315/70/17

140K pretty much trouble free miles despite the constant abuse.

Remember, they are only stickers and emblems. It's not like you're cutting up a '67 Shelby GT500 or a '69 Hemi Road Runner.
