Fair price to pay for used tires...

Got someone who wants to sell their BF Goodrich KM2 35 inch tires (35X12.50X17). The seller acquired some new tires and the old ones currently have approximately 8000 miles on them. What would be a fair price for 5?

I sold my 35x12.50R17 BFG KM2's at half tread for $350 and still felt like I was the one getting the best deal. After running them, I wouldn't buy a new set for 1/2 price.

Mileage does not matter. 8000 miles on a 2 door JK is not the same as 8k miles on a 3/4 ton diesel. Tread depth and condition will be the biggest determining factor.

On craigslist around here I'm seeing $100 or less.

I'd look at ebay and craig's and get a sense of what the market is in your region.
