My drivers side was cracked almost all the way around and I replaced it with a dorman several months ago and so far so good. Install was pretty easy and everything lined up. Found out that the rear stud had been broken off for some time and I didn't have time to deal with it so I just used the remaining studs and it sealed up fine. Might not be a bad idea to plan ahead for a broken stud, they seem to be a bit of a problem sometimes.

Whats the cost difference? My driver side is leaking badly, I repaired the crack once and it help up for a few months, but the leak is back now. I seem to remember Q-tec having the Mopars for 66 or so bucks.

They are 120 on rock auto. I don't want to put a mopar one on just to crack again. Did they improve the design ?
