Smile Superchips Transmission Tune Jeep JK

I don't know if this helps anyone out there, but I thought I would post it. I have a 2007 JKU Sahara with factory tow package (that means I have 4.10 gears). I use a Superchips 3875 tuner, and installed the advanced transmission tune option. I did not find a lot of guidance for tuning the transmission, but I came across an older post with some spreadsheets which was very helpful. Using those shift points as a baseline, I worked with and tweaked the settings in my Jeep to reach what I think is a pretty exciting tune.

So, here are my settings. Remember this is on a 2007 JKU. I have 16 inch wheels with 33 inch tires, but they measure slightly less than 32 inches with weight compression from the vehicle.

Mods: Air Raid Cold Air Intake, AFE 3" cat back exhaust with 2 resonators and Borla XS dual outlet muffler, Five-O Motorsports high performance 24lb fuel injectors

Terrain: Where I drive, its about 535 feet above sea level. The terrain is mostly flat with some hills.

I use the 87 Octane tune, with the following settings:

Rev ltr 6000
Speed ltr 112
fan high 197
fan med 194
fan low 186
1-2 shift wot 5250
2-3 shift wot 5250
axle ratio 4.10
tcase high 1.0
tcase low 2.72

My 07 for the most part is like yours. I've held off on buying the tranny tuner option for fear of wasting money on a poor tranny.

How does your OD kick in and out now? That's my biggest gripe is that in stock form it won't shift down soon enough.
