With any soft top install, especially when new.....let it sit in the sun for a while before install and during install.

hey lance,

i had the same issue with mine, and got to a point where I tucked the driver side passenger flaps into the door surrounds and left the passenger sides flying free. After about a month, I was able to stretch the top so that both sets of rails are in, but without any pressure, one side will immediately pop. to solve that issue, I used a bungie cord wrapped from one side to the other to keep constant pressure on the rails. it hasn't popped since, and if you're not looking for the bungie, you can't really see it. also, the bungie doesn't affect using to doors, if you absolutely need those.

and like pbach said, let it sit in the sun for a few hours before you do the install, it will help loosen the material, and make it easier to stretch a bit.

good luck.

My bikini mesh is the same way. Works great without the door frame kit, but, with the door frame kit on, its over stretched to work without f-n things up.

X3 on the sun idea. I used to use pliers to pull the esdges into the surround channels. I left it open in the sun one day while I was at work, put it on while still hot (holy sh it was it hot) and now it goes on no problems!
