Xenon Flares...Who's Got Them???

Thinking of dropping some coin on a set of Xenon Flares for a 4dr...Who's gottem'?...Any Pro's / Con's...Post up some pics...Have to make a "sales" pitch to the wife so if I have some actual member pics to show her it might help with the "SALE"!!!!...

Any idea what a set of stock flares might go for?...$100-$200????

I got 'em.

Pros:
1)They look cool
2)They're pretty tough and sturdy
3) Extra tire clearance

Cons:
1) Not cheap
2) Unless you paint them or coat them with bedliner, they are hard to keep looking nice
3) They'll make your 35" tires look small

The thing I love the most about my Xenon flares is they give me a place to set things. Unlike the stockers with the built in slope that everything rolls off, with the flat fenders I can put my tools, lug nuts, valve caps, on them. Like having four handy tables

I love mine but they make my 37s look small. Time to go with 40s. I agree with all of the above but would like to add super flexy to the list. Rub a rock or a tree, they fold in and pop right back.

I've got em. They don't fit well and warp in the sun.

My narrow flares fit just fine. Have not noticed any significant warping and I folded the passenger front on a tree, it came right back to shape with just a few scratches of course. X2 on the table top. Air compressor sits real nice there.

My suggestion would be to just cut the stock ones, I did it a few weeks ago and love the look, you can make them look however you want and its virtually a free mod (hard to come by on the JK). I am probably about 20 bucks in and have gotten more positive feedback on them than anything else I have done.

Best pics i have of them right now

The xenon's are the Sh_t.. Take a ton of abuse and keep bouncing back. I sprayed mine and my wife's are all natural. wish I would of not sprayed them, constantly touching them up after wheeling and hitting stuff. Oh they make one heck of a table for trail lunch or work bench when tooling on Jeep... With the flimsy sheet metal on the JK I would never stick steel tube fenders on just these. Something is going to give and I rather watch these flex than the fender.

Thanks for ALL of the replies...They do look great!!!...Probably the main reason that I would get these is I need an extra 1-1/2" of tire coverage for state inspection......My only other option is to keep my stockers and put them on only for a few hours a year for inspection......How bad do 35's look with these?...I would love to go with 37's but I would have to replace the front axle for a D44 for sure before I could go that big...Thanks again and keep them coming...

I have the narrows, but you could get the wider ones which are 1.5" wider than stock. That should work for your inspection, although, the narrows do look better. Below is a pic of mine with 35" tires (2.5" lift).

Looks good...Yeah, I need the wider ones...My tires stick out 1.5" beyond the stock flares...I just took a 6ft level and checked...

Looks REAL GOOD!!!...Your tires stick out about the same as mine but here in PA they are REAL a$$e$ when it comes to the state inspections...I think they should be a little more worried about "other" safety issues...

I really like the looks of your JK!!!!
