Small issue with TF 2.5" BB.

After running my lift for about 1 year, I am starting to notice some cracks in the front passenger side bumpstop extension. Any advice? Here are the locations, but one is a hairline crack, and the other 2 are enough for the thin part of the key to fit into. They go from the bottom hole to about 5/6 of the way to the name.

Just e-mailed them today, and was looking for some input as to why, if anyone knows.

Just send me a pm with your info and I'll send a replacement. I've not heard of any of these cracking like that. Can you get me some pics?

Joe

Uploading them now.

It's gonna suck having to tear apart the suspension to replace it.

^^If you want a new one, do this.^^

If you don't want to bother with taking it out, then don't worry about it. There is metal inside the urethane, so cracks don't mean anything will be coming loose or anything. The metal is the real meat of the extension, the poly is to keep it quiet if the spring touches it, and to provide the "snap in" functionality.

I PM'ed you and 30 seconds later JoeT answered. I knew the company was good, but DAMN!

Sent Joe my info. And still waiting on Sprint to upload the photos to photobucket.

I'm goona get a replacement, because I don't want to ever have to worry about the factory bumpstop falling out of the adapter.

Not sure, but I have new ones on the way. I'll inspect them and post up if it's anything other than a dryness crack.

i just sold my 2.5 bb from teraflex and couldnt get the front bumpstops off. I am slightly disabled but even still, those things are in there good. after seeing the pictures of the ones you have in now, I would leave em and keep your new ones for back up

I have a jeep and it goes over shit.
