I've got them somewhere around here.

I'll put them back on when the hard top goes back on for the winter just to keep all the heavily salted gunk out of the hinges.

Cheers,

If they're unbolted, maybe someone will steal them. does insurance pay out for door theft? then I could get some of the RR halfs.

The only reason that I say I keep them handy is because they're buried in the console since that is where I threw then when I took them out.

Hahahaa... .me too!!! I was thinking about hanging a little sign "look no bolts in the doors" just to help the turds out a little. If someone steels mine I am going with a set of half doors.

I keep all the bolts in those little zip lock baggies, they started piling up so I marked the baggies with a sharpie..... hard top bolts..... door bolts....stock tire carrier bolts.... etc...

Always enjoy your polls, I voted yes, but only because I'm a poosy and don't take the doors off enough to worry about them. (at least that's what I expected to be voting yes for)

If I did leave them out I wouldn't worry any more or less about door theft. But I do wonder if it could have any extra vertical play bouncing around, probably not a biggie anyway though.

I'm takin the doors off and putting them on all the time because of the awesome weather we've been having this year and it's a daily driver so I keep the bolts off. Probably put them back on when the hard top goes back on this winter.

I kept up w/ them the first year. I think I have 2 or 3 of them laying around somewhere. Personally, I hope someone steals the fuck out of my doors so I can rock some new half doors.

LOL, after reading this thread, maybe I'll leave 'em off. Can you rock half doors with a hardtop?

Well yes as a matter of fact insurance does pay for door replacement. I had mine stolen a long time ago on my TJ and the ins co gave me $1200 ($1700 minus $500 for deductible) I had full steel and I bought half like 500 or 600... made out on that one BUT it took me 3 or 4 weeks to get the check from them.

I am pretty sure I know who did it but could never prove it!

Thats when I got the trail cover for it and I loved it!

Besides no one walks by a jeep and says "hey door with no bolts, I think I'll take them!" They had to have planned the heist and if the did that they would most likely come prepared!! They had to have wanted my doors!!
