Thumbs up Pitbull, Awsome tires!

Well guys and gals, I've been trying out a couple of tires. The Pitbull Rocker Bias Ply 37x13.5x17 and the new 38.5x13.5x17 Pitbull Mad Dog radial. here is what I can tell you. Each tire has it's strong points. The Rocker is straight up awsome in the mud, swamp, and loose dirt. The Mad Dog chews up the rocks, trails, and sand. I recently ran in a large event at over 7000' in the Canadian rockies. through 3 feet of swamp and mud, up very steep slippery rocks, and through loose shail rock gardens. Never had to winch once! On the rocks the Mad Dogs held their grip at ALL times when all other tires were at the least spinning ocassionally. Now for the on road question... The new radials are sweet. At 20psi I have not a shimmy or shake. I can even let the steering wheel go and she stays straight. Pretty good for a 38.5" tire. Oh by the way, I'm not using any balancing at all. Nada!
Here are the Mad Dogs (sorry for the poser shots, action ones to follow):

I have no business affiliations with Pitbull tires at all. But when a product is this good with customer service and support that is second to none... I have to let everyone know!

x2 - More info on the Mad Dogs! I'm glad to hear that you're happy with them, they are high up on the list for my next set of tires.

If you don't mind my asking what do they measure out at when mounted? Height? Width? What width wheel you've got them on?

Sorry for the 20 questions but inquiring minds want to know

I'm kinda interested in the 38.5 Mad Dog's also especially if they have a 16" version!

Edit: Just checked the website and it looks like they do! 38.5x1350R16LT/E

They do! That put them even higher on the list because I wont have to buy new fawking wheels.

And They are supposed to come out with a radial rocker as well.

Thats cool! Maybe we'll get some good info. I want to see how well these things hook up being an E rated tire. I hope the sidewall isn't too stiff.

Ding ding ding!!! Ladies and germs we have a winnnah!

Its precisely for this reason, that the Mad Dogs come in a 16", that are so high up on my list!

I remember PM-ing with ThePitBull about upcoming radial Rocker sizes and he had said a 37x12.50r16 Rocker would be out this fall. Unfortunately I don't have the PM anymore so I can't remember the exact time frame. Either way, both of these tires are the bomb!

The Mad Dog being an E rated tire is a drag, but if the sidewall is stiff enough I guess you could air them down that much more... provided that you have a way to keep them on the wheel. I'm running Staun internal beadlocks so that shouldn't be too much of an issue for me, but could be for some.

37x12.50x16 will likely be my next tire if they do come out in the fall. I am CHEWING up my Interco Super Swampers. Doubt they'll make it a full year lol.

I haven't had many chances to take pics of my own rig but I'll get some and post em. Can't wait to check out the new radial Rockers. The bias version are nothing short of remarkable, They'll eat TSL's.

I've run both the Rockers and the Mad Dogs. The Rockers are great in the mud. These also clean-out real well too. I prefer The Mad Dogs for trails and rocks as well as onroad manners. I was wheeling at over 7000' with sheer drops on either side, these tires more than just kept up, they were eating up 40" tires were it really counted. I've tried quite a few tires throughout the years and these are great. I'll have to try out the Pitbull Rocker radial when it comes out. Not only a great tire but stand alone customer service too.
