Wheel question...

I'm looking at Pro Comp 7028's and they show 4.75" of BS. I thought the general rule of thumb was you needed 4.5" or less to clear 35x12.50's. Am I gonna be alright with this wheel/tire?

I'm thinking of the 7028 w/ MTR Kevlar.

Thanks in advance.

No help from anyone, huh. I know I've seen people running these wheels. Please speak up and help me out.

4.5" is the min. As far as tires, I'm not sold on the Kevlar idea. I know it sounds great on promos but I've seen MTR's with 0psi and the sidewall didn't give a bit. Not great for foot prints.

Thanks for the info on the tires.

I think we're either talking about something different or I'm missing you somehow on the BS. I thought the stock wheels were ~6" BS and that the MAX recommended BS was 4.5" (to push the tire further out of the wheel well). So, 4.75" would be closer to the stock measurement and possibly create rubbing issues.
